Back Bay Capital Corp. (BBC)
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
Back Bay Capital Corp. ("BBC," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through backbaycapital.com (the "Site") and our advisory services, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or contacting us, you agree to this Policy.
Back Bay Capital is a business advisory firm. Our purpose is to give everyday business owners the caliber of advice big companies get — helping them optimize operations, improve profitability, and build lasting value both inside and outside the business, while looking out for the people they employ. This Policy describes how we handle personal information in the course of that work.
Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry through our online form (hosted at backbaycapital.com/form), call us, or otherwise contact us, we may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, number of W-2 employees, the area you'd like help with, and anything you include in your message.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting and form providers may log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you view. The Site itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Service providers. We use trusted third-party providers — for example, form-handling and email-delivery services — that process your submission on our behalf so we can receive and respond to it.
Program partners. To deliver the services you request, including the payroll optimization program, we may share your information with the relevant program provider and its administrators (for example, IronGate Business Advisors).
Business transfers. If BBC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or a sale of all or part of its business or assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Legal and protection. We may disclose information when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BBC, our clients, or others.
We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties for their own independent marketing.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us or following the opt-out instructions in our messages. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to limit certain sharing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to opt out of certain sharing; we will honor verified requests as required by law.
We keep your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain our business records, and to comply with our legal obligations, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site and our services are intended for business owners and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The Site or our communications may link to third-party websites or scheduling tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above and post the updated version. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
This Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
